Body

Surgical body styling or ‚body contouring’ helps to regain aesthetic proportions, a better body image, a boost to your self-esteem and a new joy in how you move, dress and feel. Various means can be used in order to achieve a desired body contour. Liposuction and the operative fat redistribution methods known as lipostructure, liporecycling, liposhifting, lipofilling or lipotransfer, are some of the most common procedures in aesthetic plastic surgery and achieve enduring improvements to your body contour. Beyond these so called liposculpture procedures, there are also lift-operations, such as abdominoplasty (a.k.a. tummy tuck), thigh lifts, upper arm lifts, buttock lifts and buttock implants, as well as calf implants.

This competency is only the beginning – it is just as important that you inform yourself and gather quality advice prior to any cosmetic procedure – including information on risks and after-effects.

Hair

Hair is actually a collection of shafts made of keratin, each sealed by a cuticle and fixed at the root of the scalp by follicles, which generate lipids to nourish the hair. The initial growth period spans two to six years, after which follows a two- to three-week transition period. After a three-month growth respite, the hair begins to fall out and a new hair cycle begins, in which 50 to 150 daily new hair shafts emerge. Eventually (and unnoticeably), around 100,000 hairs cover the head. More than half of all men suffer from hereditary hair loss. The hair roots in these cases are programmed thus, that hair loss and baldness occurs even in men with otherwise normal testosterone levels. Cause is not the testosterone itself but what it produces: Dihydrotestosteron (DHT). However, a flaw in the sexual hormone can also lead to problematic hair growth and thinning.
