Breast reduction

Large breasts in proportion to the rest of the body can often lead to a mental strain in young women and, with age, their weight can also labour them physically. Sagging breasts can often be corrected with the simple use of push-up bras or a breast lift. Large breasts, on the other hand, limits the affected woman in her choice of clothing and strengthens the desire to bring the breasts into proportion. In a breast reduction operation, not only is excess skin removed but tissue and fat deposits are also reduced. In men, it is often sufficient with a one-off liposuction treatment.

Scars run (as with breast lifts) along the nipple surround, down toward the breast fold and when necessary in the fold itself. The volume of the breast is reduced through the removal of tissue from the lower part of the breast, all the while being protected by a nerve- and blood supply from the nipple. A supplementary liposuction can further remodel the breast from the side os the armpit
