Lymphoedema

Lymphoedema is an accumulation of fluid and waste products which presents as a swelling of the affected part of the body and often stems from an organ problem. The affected leg is very taut and the foot is encompassed by the swelling. For lymphoedema we advocate lymph drainage and compression stockings, as well as an in-depth consultation at our surgery.
