Scar correction
Scars that remain following operations, accidents or burns can, depending on their position, size and colour, be deemed aesthetically displeasing or even physically disabling. However, many techniques are available to treat them.
The method of choice is dependent on the age, location and type of scar in question. We can correct hypertrophic scars, keloide scars, atrophic scars (similar to stretch marks in pregnancy), contract scars and acne scars with methods such as pressure treatment, kryotherapy, silicone sheeting, scar creams, injection fillers, cortisone injections, dermabrasion, chemical peeling, laser therapy (Er:YAG-Laser, CO2-Laser)) or excision through to skin transplants and expansion technology
