Veins
Acute and chronic vein disorders are among the most common civilisation diseases of our time – and they’re on the increase. In Germany alone, around 32 million people suffer from problems with their veins.
Symptoms range from heaviness, tightening, cramps, swelling, tired legs, spider veins and varicose veins , through to superficial vein inflammation, eczema of the shank (lower leg) and thromboses, later resulting in an ulcerated leg.
Early diagnosis of vein diseases is most important in order to establish the nature of the problem, allow it to be successfully treated with the appropriate therapy and avoid secondary diseases.
